Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to oversee and manage a team of Managers and personnel to ensure high standards of cleanliness across multiple client sites.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing people and revenue in the contract cleaning sector, with a strong ability to motivate and develop their team members.
Key Responsibilities
* To ensure action plans are in place and reviewed regularly to achieve all targets set and align with business goals.
* To control costs within budgets, review contract prices, and agree increases with clients.
* To liaise with line managers and directors on business objectives, financial aspects, innovation, and growth opportunities.
* To attend review meetings to discuss actual financial performance against budget and requirements.
* To achieve new sales growth, identify opportunities, and direct the Business Development Manager accordingly.
Contract / Site Management
The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the cleaning specification is implemented and adhered to. They will review contracts as necessary to meet company and client requirements.
Regular client liaison is crucial to monitor standards, satisfaction with the service provided, and build relationships with key clients.
People Management
* To oversee the recruitment, induction, training, and development of direct reports to ensure a high calibre of capable managers and supervisors.
* To ensure all managers and supervisors understand and focus on meeting regional and company objectives.
* To monitor and review performance of managers and direct reports in terms of budgets and communicate company standards effectively.
* To conduct annual performance and personal development appraisals with managers and direct reports.
