Our Design Team:
Venterra's Design team incorporates the design and analysis of foundations and substations for Floating and fixed Offshore Wind, Monopiles and Jackets, T&I, Onshore and Offshore substation design and Onshore Renewables.
Role Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Coordinator to support the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes across our engineering consultancy. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance, supporting audits, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Key responsibilities:
Quality System Support:
* Maintain and update documentation within the Quality Management System (QMS).
* Assist in the coordination and scheduling of internal and external audits.
* Undertake Internal audits across all areas of the business
* Support the preparation of audit materials and follow-up actions.
Data Management & Reporting:
* Track and log non-conformities, incidents, and corrective actions.
* Maintain registers for audits, risk assessments, and safety observations.
* Compile and present KPI data for monthly and quarterly reporting.
Compliance & Coordination:
* Ensure quality documentation is properly filed, version-controlled, and accessible.
* Liaise with project teams to gather and verify quality-related information.
* Support the implementation and tracking of business improvement initiatives.
Safety & Risk Awareness:
* Assist in promoting safety awareness through communications and training coordination.
* Monitor incident reporting and support investigations and follow-up.
* Help prepare and maintain risk assessment documentation across projects.
Sustainability:
* Assist in gathering sustainability statistics across the company
* Help to promote sustainability across the Geoscience
* Monitor STEM hours and company contribution to the Venterra Group
* Attending relevant committee meetings
Key KPI's:
* Audit Completion Support - Timely coordination and documentation for scheduled audits.
* Business Improvement Tracking - Number and effectiveness of improvement initiatives supported.
* Non-Conformity Closure Rate - % of non-conformities tracked and closed within target timeframes.
* Safety Awareness Engagement - Distribution and visibility of safety communications and materials.
* Incident Reporting Timeliness - % of incidents logged and escalated within required timeframes.
* Incident Prevention Measures - Number of proactive safety measures supported and documented.
* Risk Assessment Coverage - % of projects with current and complete risk assessments.
Key Skills/Experience/Competencies:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in an administrative or quality support role, ideally within engineering, construction, or technical consultancy.
* Experience working with quality systems and documentation control.
* Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001 and or 45001or other quality standards is highly desirable.
* Exposure to audit preparation, incident tracking, or compliance reporting.
Education / Qualifications:
* Education in H&S – NEBOSH General
* Experience in an administrative or quality support role, ideally within engineering or construction.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document control systems.
* Attention to detail and familiarity with quality and safety processes.
Desirable Attributes:
* Experience with audit preparation and compliance tracking.
* Interest in developing further within quality assurance or engineering support roles.
* Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
