An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Design Coordinator, working with our partner, a major Irish construction firm, who are seeking an experienced Design Coordinatorfor an exciting new project. This is a prestigious educational project located in Limerick City, offering excellent career progression opportunities. Requirements: Proven experience in a similar coordination/design management role within a D+B or contractor-led environment. In-depth knowledge of faade systems and detailing. Familiarity with Autodesk platforms (ACC/BIM 360) and CDE workflows. Strong communication and organisational skills. Excellent understanding of Irish Building Regulations and industry compliance standards. Responsibilities: Act as the main liaison between the D+B Design Team, Department of Education, and project assessors (TA/MDTT). Prepare and issue Mandatory Technical Submissions (MTS/RDD) ensuring full compliance with GWR, SSWR, and contract documents. Oversee design submissions and Designer Checklists through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). Manage site Benchmark Mockups / First of a Kind (FoK) installations, including documentation, photos, and reporting. Ensure subcontractor MTS include up-to-date documentation (DoPs, CE markings, etc.). Support bi-weekly progress reporting with input on design activities, MTS, and RFIs. Coordinate design development from concept to construction across architectural, M&E, and structural disciplines. Facilitate integration between architectural teams and specialist subcontractors, especially faade contractors. Lead and document design meetings, mock-ups, material selections, and sample panel approvals. Oversee faade system design (e.g., cladding, curtain walling, glazing) from early concepts to construction details. Review subcontractor drawings and manage design information flow via Autodesk platforms. Track submittals, resolve design issues early, and align design progress with project timelines. Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, and relevant faade standards.
