This role involves working across a shift rotation between days & nights with one week off between day & night shift. Due to the way the shift pattern is designed, we can offer you the unique advantage of working a full-time role with 28 weeks off per yearGiving you the incredible opportunity to maintain a healthy work/life balanceAs our Production Operator, you'll support TOPPAN's success by:Operating high volume production machinery.Adhering to standard operating procedures.Working to targets on a manual assembly line.Ensuring high quality of product to required standards.Making a significant contribution to continuous improvement in the process.Partaking in problem solving to improve the process.Attending training when required to do so.Ensuring that the customer requirements are met in a timely matter.Complying with continuous improvement programmes.Complying with all environmental health and safety procedures.Ensuring work stations and machines are kept clean.Performing other duties/projects as requested by the production Supervisor/Manager.Any other ad-hoc projects as may arise from time to time.What we love about your background:Previous experience as a production operator in a manufacturing environment is beneficial but not required as training will be givenBasic Mathematical skillsAble to understand verbal and written English instructions (work instructions).Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.Ability to read and interpret standard Operating procedures and work instructions.Working hours rotation:Days: Thursday – Saturday 07:30 to 19:40Days: Monday – Wednesday 07:30 to 19:407 days off (week -off) after working 6 days or nights.28 weeks off a yearNights: Thursday – Saturday 19:30 to 07:40Nights: Monday – Wednesday 19:30 to 07:40TOPPAN is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
