We offer a supportive, solutions‑driven environment, meaningful project exposure, and the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth and direction of the business.Upcoming ProjectsLarge‑scale residential projects for the Land Development Agency (LDA) and their Development PartnersPrivate residential projects (high‑rise and low‑rise) nationwideRefurbishment of historic structures for the OPW and public/ private sector ClientsNew‑build commercial office and hotel projectsCommercial office and hotel refurbishment and fit‑out projectsIndustrial and data centre projectsKey ResponsibilitiesContribute to the delivery of structural engineering services across a range of projects, from feasibility through detailed design and construction stages.Provide technical input on structural design requirements and solutions, working closely with project teams, senior colleagues, and other disciplines.Participate in design team meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and sub‑contractors as part of coordinated project delivery.Assist in the development of practical and efficient structural design solutions, ensuring designs are buildable and technically robust.Ensure designs are prepared in accordance with relevant Eurocodes, standards, and best practice.Prepare and assist in the coordination of technical reports, calculations, drawings, and tender documentation in collaboration with engineers and technicians.Support site inspections and construction‑stage services, including assisting senior engineers where certification or inspections are required.Work collaboratively with civil and structural teams on integrated multidisciplinary projects.Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting company procedures, quality standards, and technical initiatives.Qualifications ExperienceMasters or Honours Degree (Level 8+) in Structural Engineering;4+ years experience working as a structural engineer on a broad range of development projects (high‑rise or low‑rise residential experience desirable).Aspiration to get Chartered with Engineers Ireland/ IStructE in the near future;Experience with Eurocodes, ideally with work experience in Ireland, the UK or Europe;Solid technical and analytical skills with demonstrable problem solving abilities;Experience attending site and carrying out inspections in accordance with BCAR is desirable;Key AttributesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written;Ability to develop and nurture relationships with colleagues, Design Team members, Clients and Contractors;Excellent time management skills;Interested in continuous professional development and learning;Good IT skills and experience with structural analysis packages (such as Tekla, Tedds, Etabs, etc.);Full drivers licence desirable
