Role Summary
As a Social Care Worker, you will provide high‑quality, person‑centred support in a small residential care setting, empowering individuals to live meaningful, independent lives.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver person‑centred support that promotes independence, self‑care, and life skills.
Support community integration by accompanying residents to appointments, social and recreational activities, and family visits.
Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, laundry, and household duties while promoting dignity and self‑agency.
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to plan, record, review, and monitor care plans and individual outcomes.
Maintain accurate records using digital systems and documentation standards.
Uphold HIQA regulations and standards, best practice guidelines, health and safety, and safeguarding policies.
Create a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for all residents.
Operate in a small residential centre supporting a maximum of four residents, ensuring high‑quality, individualised care.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
A recognised qualification in Social Care / Health Care at QQI Level 7 or higher (or equivalent).
CORU Registration or proof of active CORU application.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to plan, document, and report effectively.
Confidence in using IT systems for record keeping and care documentation.
A strong understanding of best practice in residential care and of individuals' rights and protection.
Legal right to work in Ireland and successful Garda Vetting.
A professional approach grounded in respect, empathy, flexibility, and initiative.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
