Sustainability Manager
Ryanair are recruiting for a Sustainability Manger to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.
Based in Dublin and reporting directly to the Director of Sustainability & Finance, this is a key role within the Sustainability team.
Responsibilities
 * Monitoring and reporting our fuel usage and CO2 emissions for compliance reporting such as the EU ETS, UK ETS or CORSIA, and managing our allowances and offsets.
 * Implementing and communicating the flight labeling scheme to inform our passengers about the environmental impact of their flights and encourage them to choose lower-emission options.
 * Linking SAF to ETS and identifying the best strategies to reduce our carbon intensity and optimize fuel costs.
 * Conducting research and analysis on the latest trends and developments in the aviation sustainability sector and providing recommendations for improvement.
 * Monitor and report against ESG metrics and targets (e.g. SBTi).
 * Ad-hoc reporting as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
 * A bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science, engineering, finance, or a related field.
 * At least 2 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably in a sustainability-related role.
 * Knowledge of the regulation and policy frameworks for SAF and ETS, and their implications for the aviation sector.
 * Excellent analytical skills are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of initiative alongside strong interpersonal and excellent communications skills.
