You'll help identify high‑value opportunities, ensure strong governance aligned to the EU AI Act, and manage a talented cross‑functional team to bring innovative solutions from concept to production.You'll also work closely with business and technology stakeholders to evolve our AI operating model, embed emerging technologies, and ensure our solutions are scalable, sustainable and aligned to our wider digital transformation goals.If you're passionate about AI, thrive in a fast‑moving tech environment, and want to build something with real impact - this is the role.What You'll Be DoingLead and develop a high‑performing AI & RPA team, setting clear goals and fostering continuous learning.Own the roadmap for AI and RPA across the business — identifying opportunities, prioritising use cases, and ensuring successful delivery.Drive AI governance in line with EU AI legislation, ensuring compliance, ethical use, and responsible innovation.Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to analyse processes, translate requirements, and deliver impactful automation and AI solutions.Shape and evolve our AI operating model to ensure scalability, adaptability, and alignment with emerging technologies.Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluating new technologies and bringing forward thinking into the organisation.Contribute to solution design through the Architecture Review Board (ARB).Ensure solutions are stable, high‑quality, and aligned to our IT strategy and architecture.Support the transition from current to future‑state technical environments.About You5+ years' experience in IT management or leading technical teams, ideally with exposure to AI or automation.Strong interest and curiosity in emerging technologies and AI advancements.Experience across IT architecture methodologies, SDLC delivery, and cross‑team collaboration.Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships across a complex organisation.Strong decision‑making ability — able to translate strategy into action.A people leader who can motivate, mentor and build a collaborative, high‑performing team.Creative problem solver with a passion for continuous improvement.Education:A bachelor's degree is preferred; master's degree desirable but not essential.
