Don’t miss this opportunity to join the team at Hay Lodge Community Hospital. We are a nurse-led unit providing a 24hour inpatient service. We offer rehabilitation and end of life care for people in the local community.
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Healthcare Support Worker who would like to be part of a friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team with an ethos of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* The post holder will liaise closely with nursing and therapy staff to deliver person centred care to impact on our patient’s health and wellbeing in a positive and proactive way.
* Deliver and document any care provided, with excellent communication and teamwork.
* Be flexible and able to work days and nights on the ward.
Qualifications / Skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Understanding of patient safety
* Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Contract and salary
1 year fixed-term contract. Salary quoted is for full-time hours (37 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
