We are seeking a seasoned IT Field Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Prioritize, manage, and respond to helpdesk calls in a timely manner, including travel to sites to support users.
* Establish and build strong working relationships with customers.
* Troubleshoot hardware faults and refer them to third parties when necessary.
* Assign warranties on hardware to third parties where appropriate.
* Perform system administration tasks using Active Directory.
* Troubleshoot issues with Windows accounts and mailboxes.
* Solve software faults, such as those related to Citrix.
* Install and configure computer hardware and peripherals, operating systems, and applications.
* Manage shared folders on servers and set up new security permissions.
* Liaise with third-party vendors for software and hardware installation.
* Provide training and documentation for new solutions.
* Manage print devices and liaise with vendors to resolve issues.
Requirements
* 1 year of experience in an IT hardware environment, with expertise in Windows installations.
* Demonstrate good problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to empathize with users and adapt to their needs.
* Strong communication skills.
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and report writing.
* Proven track record of producing high-quality deliverables.
