About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Physiotherapist to join our client’s Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Athlone. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, providing essential physiotherapy services to children with disabilities and supporting their development and independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments and provide physiotherapy interventions for children with a range of disabilities.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans to support movement, mobility, and overall physical development.
* Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, child-centered care.
* Provide training and education to parents and other professionals on best practices for supporting children’s physical development.
* Contribute to service planning, development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* A degree in Physiotherapy and CORU registration.
* A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience, with paediatrics and disability experience preferred.
* Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting.
