As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations of the office, while delivering on personal and team sales targets. You'll lead a dynamic team of Sales Executives and Sales Advisors, ensuring they meet performance expectations, adhere to company procedures, and deliver a customer-first experience
The Role: what does the job involve?:
* Lead, manage and develop a Sales Office team to meet and exceed annual sales targets.
* Monitor performance, provide regular coaching and support, and manage underperformance effectively.
* Allocate business targets strategically across the team to ensure individual and collective success.
* Contribute to sales through direct selling and account management, meeting with existing and new customers.
* Identify opportunities to grow revenue across commercial and agri-business segments.
* Ensure compliance with all internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with other branch managers to optimise shared resources.
* Report regularly on sales activity and performance to the Regional Sales Manager.
The Candidate:
1. Education:
2. CIP - candidates without APA in insurance will not be considered.
3. Third-level qualification is advantageous.
4. QFA is a plus.
5. Experience:
6. Previous experience in insurance is essential, or financial services.
7. Background in a similar role is highly desirable.
8. Skills:
9. Strong communication, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
10. Excellent time management, organisation, and attention to detail.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance systems.
12. Good numeracy and analytical skills.
13. Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
