About Your New Role
As a Mechanical Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day mechanical installation works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Supervising and coordinating
mechanical trades teams
on site
Leading installation of
HVAC systems, pipework, plant rooms, and general mechanical services
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with
drawings, specifications, and safety standards
Coordinating with
site managers, engineers, and other trades
to maintain programme timelines
Managing
materials, tools, and labour allocation
on site
Monitoring
quality of installation
and ensuring compliance with project requirements
Supporting
testing, commissioning, and handover processes
Resolving on-site issues and providing practical solutions to keep works progressing
Enforcing
health & safety standards
and promoting best practice on site
Assisting with
progress reporting
and daily site updates
What You'll Need to Succeed
Trade background in
mechanical services (plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC, etc.)
Proven experience as a
Mechanical Foreman / Lead Tradesperson
on construction projects
Strong knowledge of
mechanical building services installation and systems
Ability to read and interpret
technical drawings and specifications
Experience working on
large-scale construction or fit-out projects
Strong understanding of
health & safety regulations
on site
Good leadership and team coordination skills
Ability to work to
tight deadlines and programme schedules
Excellent communication skills when dealing with site teams and management
