The Role – What You'll Be Doing:
As a Project Engineer at Dunne Brothers Ltd, you'll play a vital role in delivering a high-quality infrastructure and building refurbishment projects, working closely with the Director / Owner and on-site teams. Your responsibilities will include:
* Working as part of a team in the delivery numerous small projects at any one time.
* Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and local authorities to resolve technical issues and drive programme delivery.
* Support tendering and pre-construction activities with technical input, methodologies, and buildability advice.
* Coordinating with site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Managing site resources including plant, materials, and labour
* Attending and contributing to regular site meetings
* Enforcing health and safety standards and traffic management on site
* Implement and monitor quality management systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001.
* Preparing progress reports and updates for the Project Manager
* Supporting a collaborative and productive site environment
What We're Looking For:
* 2+ years' experience in a similar project management role
* A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction-related discipline
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and general IT tools
* Strong skills in subcontractor coordination and stakeholder communication
* Previous experience on Public infrastructure projects is a strong advantage
* Proven ability to problem solve and manage multiple priorities
* Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills
* Comfortable working alongside clients and the public
* Experience with GPS and Total Station setting out
* Full Driving Licence
