Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Receipt and identification of components
2. Chemical cleaning of components
3. Inspection procedures and processes
4. Welding of turbine components
5. Blending of turbine components
6. Operation of various machines/equipment, e.g., EDM, CNC milling machines, surface grinders
7. Completion of product process tasks in accordance with approved data (e.g., Opsheets, TPS)
8. Compliance with applicable quality system procedures (e.g., process control checks, reporting non-conformance, policies, safety statements, air cargo security, radiation safety, airworthiness requirements)
9. Recording results of inspections, tests, control checks, batch/run numbers, work completed, to maintain accurate records and verify component identification
10. Perform all tasks safely, observing good human factors principles
11. Assist Lead Hands in achieving team goals
Person Specification
1. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
2. Good educational background
3. Proficiency in verbal and numeric skills, with mechanical comprehension
4. Experience in an industrial environment is advantageous
