To support the Site Manager and take full responsibility for the site in Site Manager's absence.Main Tasks and Responsibilities:Customer ServicePro-actively deliver excellence in customer service at all timesEnsure that customer satisfaction is the number one priority and consistently deliver and exceptional service by displaying I-CARE service excellence behavioursProfessionally handle all customer queries and complaints in line with company policy, in a timely manner and escalate where appropriateStore Operations and standardsSupport the Site Manager in the efficient day-to-day running of retail unitEnsure that the store reflects company's standards of merchandising, presentation and Customer CareEnsure and maintain the level of hygiene to the highest standard throughout the store and compliance by all staff members to the sameEnsure all operational checklists are followed on a daily basis across the shop and forecourtTeam ManagementCompetently manage and organise a team of staffBe approachable and a role model who leads by example and encourages teamwork, fosters a positive attitude and atmosphere in the workplaceDevelop and promote good communication between employees and management in a safe, respectful and inclusive environmentSupport Store Manager in the development and training of the team to required training standardsManage employee performance, giving regular feedback, recognition and encouragementStock ManagementEnsure accurate ordering of stock from PLOFAccept and process deliveriesMerchandise shop area to ensure maximum performance of productsBe vigilant at all times to prevent stock loss and wastePerform and manage weekly / monthly stock takesAchieve the specified margins and sales targets set out by Support OfficeHealth, Safety and Welfare ManagementAssume role of H&S Officer for designated siteStrictly comply with standards and safe working practices as outlined in The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005 and subsequent Regulations, Acts or AmendmentsStrictly comply with all policies, practices and procedures, outlined in the Pelco Ltd.
