Job DescriptionSocial Media & Content Creator (Part-Time)

Organisation: Tempo Football Academy

Location: Limerick / On-site & Hybrid

Hours: 20 hours per week

Contract: Fixed-term (with potential to extend)

Role Overview

The Social Media & Content Creator is responsible for managing Tempo Football Academy's social media channels and producing consistent, high-quality content across all programmes.

This role requires someone who can work independently, stay up to date with current content trends, and take ownership of output without the need for close supervision.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and publish content across Tempo's social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
* Plan and deliver weekly and monthly content schedules
* Create engaging photo, video and short-form content at training sessions, events and tournaments
* Stay up to date with current social media trends, formats and best practices
* Ensure all content aligns with Tempo's brand guidelines, values and tone
* Coordinate with coaching and programme staff to capture relevant content
* Edit and prepare content for posting (video, captions, basic graphics)
* Monitor engagement and basic performance metrics
* Maintain consistency across all programmes, locations and events

Required Skills & Experience

* Strong understanding of football/soccer and sports culture
* Proven experience creating social media content
* Ability to work independently and proactively
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confident using social media platforms and content tools
* Comfortable working to deadlines and content plans

Desirable Skills

* Experience working with sports academies, clubs or events
* Knowledge of grassroots and youth football in Ireland
* Basic graphic design or video editing skills
* Experience creating short-form video content (Reels, TikTok)

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced sports environment

Reporting Line

Reports to: Programme Director / Senior Management
