Matrix Recruitment is recruiting for a Buyer on behalf of our Manufacturing client in the County Kildare area.
This is a maternity leave contract: 9-12 months (company is expanding, potential opportunities).
You’ll support the Purchasing Director in maintaining inventory, sourcing materials, and ensuring smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Procurement & Planning – Manage raw materials and packaging orders, aligning with production needs and inventory levels.
* Supplier Coordination – Liaise with approved vendors on deliveries, discrepancies, and corrective actions.
* Data & Reporting – Prepare reports on purchase orders, costs, and delivery performance.
* Process Improvement – Support purchasing strategies to enhance efficiency and cost control.
What You Need:
* Bachelor’s degree/Certificate (in Supply Chain, Business, or related field) is a plus.
* Minimum 2 years purchasing experience.
* Experience within Food & beverage/manufacturing sector or similar environment.
* Strong Excel and IT skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
