A leading loan and asset management institution are hiring for a Mortgage Analyst to join their team on a contract basis.
This role is based in Maynooth, Co Kildare and is 5 days onsite for the initial few months until full training has been cleared. This contract is initially for 6 months with strong view for extension and salary is depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Validating and processing mortgage application information & documents in accordance with client requirements.
2. Assisting with the progression of a mortgage application by generating loan offer documentation in line with procedures & controls.
3. Running credit reference reports on applications on behalf of Clients.
4. Assist the business by managing incoming email correspondence via central mailbox management.
5. Professionally liaise with external broker network, internal departments & the origination client to fulfil the completion of a mortgage and ensure drawdown of funds in a timely manner.
6. Ability to assess mortgage documentation to ensure adherence to client credit policy and guidelines and ensuring applications are within Central Bank guidelines.
7. Managing the drawdown process once loan has been sanctioned, ensuring a seamless transition into primary servicing where applicable.
8. Responsible for reviewing, analysing, validating and ensuring timely delivery of Management Information and SLA reports to the client and for internal purposes
Experience/Requirements:
9. Minimum of 1-2 years' Financial Industry experience (Banking, Asset Management, Mortgages, Lending or Data Analysis is highly desirable).
10. Immediate availability
11. Irish citizenship, EU Passport or valid Stamp 1G or 4 Visa
12. Results focused with a particular emphasis on attention to detail.
13. Computer literate with good knowledge of the MS office suite.
14. Excellent communication skills written, and verbal are essential.
15. Ability to prioritise and work independently under pressure within a team environment
