Our Client:
A leading financial services organisation is expanding its European Data & Analytics capability and is looking for a Senior Data Developer to help build trusted, decision-ready data products at scale. This is a high-impact role with strong visibility across the business, working closely with senior stakeholders and governance teams.
What’s Involved:
Designing, building and optimising scalable data pipelines (batch and streaming) across multiple data sources
Developing curated datasets and semantic layers to support analytics, reporting and operational decision-making
Embedding best practice engineering standards including CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring and support
Creating and maintaining robust data quality frameworks, automated controls and reporting dashboards
Performing root cause analysis and driving long-term remediation of data quality issues
Partnering with governance teams to operationalise metadata, ownership, policies and lineage using Collibra
Ensuring data assets are discoverable, well-documented and fit for audit and regulatory expectations
Supporting delivery of dashboards and analytics-ready data products with consistent KPI definitionsi>
Acting as a technical leader and mentor, supporting standards, planning and delivery across multiple initiatives
What You Need:
Candidates should hold a permanent right to work in Ireland (EU citizenship, stamp 4 etc.)
Strong experience designing and developing data pipelines and data models (dimensional and/or domain-driven)
Advanced SQL skills and strong knowledge of modern ETL/ELT and orchestration approaches
Proven ability to implement data quality controls at scale (accuracy, completeness, timeliness, integrity, etc.)
Demonstrable hands‑on experience with Collibra (metadata management, business glossary, ownership workflows, lineage and/or data quality rule definition)
Experience implementing lineage and data observability concepts (freshness, monitoring, anomaly detection)
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business needs into measurable data products
