About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Services Manager to lead the delivery of integrated facilities management services within a regulated pharmaceutical environment in Cork. This senior operational leadership role carries responsibility for multiple service lines including cleaning, catering, technical services, workplace services, and vendor management. The role serves as the key on‑site point of contact, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, financial performance, and high levels of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of integrated FM services across the site.
Manage operational performance across multiple service lines and teams.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main on‑site contact.
Ensure compliance with GMP/GDP, health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Manage budgets, forecasting, P&L performance, and financial reporting.
Drive SLA/KPI performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee contractor and vendor management across all services.
Support business growth through innovation, efficiencies, and additional service opportunities.
Lead, coach, and develop high‑performing operational teams.
About You
Essential
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within a GMP‑regulated pharma or medical device environment.
Strong background in Facilities Management or Integrated FM services.
Proven experience managing multiple operational service lines and large teams.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with P&L responsibility.
Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing compliance, risk, and operational performance within regulated environments.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
Desirable
Experience within outsourced or contract‑led environments.
FM, business, or technical qualification.
Experience within pharmaceutical, medical device, or FMCG sectors.
