Company descriptionProperty Maintenance & Construction CompanyJob descriptionExpert-Property are looking for an experienced and reliable qualified Carpenter.Candidates must be competent and highly motivated with the ability to work on a wide variety of property construction tasks and able to deal with a number of different trades.Candidates must be well-organised with strong general repair skills and basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry and painting works. We will provide successful candidates with a fuel and toll card. Must have their own van.Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following;Must be proficient in first and second fix carpentryPerform construction repairsIdentify and report the need for major repairsRequirements:Proven experience as a carpenterBe willing to be very flexible to work with colleagues within the Maintenance and Construction DeptExperience with hardware tools and electrical equipmentBasic understanding of electrical and plumbing systemsGood communication and English is essential.Well-organized and apt in problem-solvingAttention to detailBe able to use smartphone, emails etc.Full driving licence, B category.Safe pass - mandatoryManual Handling Training - mandatoryIndustry: ConstructionJob Duties:Reading and interpreting blueprintsUnderstanding customer requirementsManaging peers, dividing job tasks and/or working as a team when necessaryManaging or working with subcontractorsTraining apprentices and/or co workersEnsuring compliance with building codes and regulationsWorking knowledge of materials used in carpentryWorking knowledge of relevant tools & equipmentJob Types: Full-time, PermanentExpected hours: 40 per weekWork Location: In person
