The Finance Manager will assist the Corporate Services team in owning and managing ongoing client company service requirements and will report to an Associate Director / Director of Corporate Services. This role supports the Irish team in the preparation and review of management accounts, financial statements and ensuring tax compliance by these companies within their respective local regulatory regimes.ResponsibilitiesPlan, organise and complete tasks to ensure client engagement requirements are met, including adherence to monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines.Manage staff and assist team development by providing guidance, training and mentoring, setting goals and monitoring performance.Continuously seek to improve methods and processes to increase team effectiveness and efficiency.Work within a team to ensure:Delivery of accurate monthly/quarterly/annual cash management, management and statutory financial information to clients and auditorsProvision of financial information to clients and customersCorporation tax, VAT and Central Bank returns adhere to strict filing deadlinesLiaise with payroll to run payroll and associated reports for all clients and ensure tax returns meet deadlinesPerform and review regulatory reporting filing, tax reporting filing, quarterly and annual management accounts and year-end financial statementsEnsure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met for the assigned portfolio of clientsKeep abreast of all financial reporting and regulatory changesActively lead and monitor team projects for the Corporate Services business unitFollow Waystone Code of Conduct and lead by exampleCollaborate with colleagues across the Waystone Group to ensure effective collaboration and development of solutionsBuild and maintain excellent relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersAdhere to internal procedures to meet professional standards, ensure learnings are completed on time and propose changes to improve service delivery and qualityAssist in ad-hoc and project requirements as required by the Director/Associate DirectorEscalate to the Director/Associate Director any issues as they arisePrepare/review board meeting packs and present at board meetingsRequirementsTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
