Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced instructor to join our team in Day Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing programs tailored to the individual needs of service users.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 8 qualification in Teaching, Training and Development, or a relevant discipline, and at least two years' experience working with people with intellectual disabilities.
The role involves providing supervision, instruction, and guidance to service users, as well as identifying and facilitating community-based activities and formal/informal training opportunities.
A full clean driver's license is required, as well as the ability to deal with challenging behaviors and confidentiality.
The successful candidate will also be able to work independently, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the development of services that meet the needs of service users.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement programs tailored to individual service user needs

* Ensure program delivery and material ordering
* Liaise with parents, advocates, and multidisciplinary teams
