Job Opportunity:
Join our organization as a Senior Event Manager and Sponsorship Specialist, where you will play a key role in developing and executing our events and sponsorship strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive events and sponsorships strategy aligned with our brand and business growth objectives.
* Identify, plan, and oversee the execution of various events, including industry conferences, seminars, and client briefings, in conjunction with our business units.
* Deliver an annual program of varied, best-in-class client hospitality offerings.
* Manage a program of high-profile national sponsorships across sports, business, and cultural arenas, including partnerships with Irish Brand Ambassadors and prominent sporting events.
* Cultivate relationships with new and existing external agencies to negotiate and enhance sponsorship agreements and activation programs.
* Embed a culture of creativity and innovation in the planning and execution of sponsorship and event activations to ensure maximum amplification of our marketing assets and optimum audience engagement.
* Manage the budgeting, measurement, and reporting mechanisms around all events and sponsorship initiatives to ensure value for money and ROI are achieved.
* Lead a team of events and sponsorship professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment, ensuring best-in-class outcomes and results.
Requirements and Qualifications
* A minimum of 10 years' professional experience at senior levels, leading premium events and sponsorship programs within large corporate or professional services firms.
* A proven track record of developing and executing best-in-class events and sponsorship programs that align with brand values and deliver measurable results.
* Strong experience in leading supplier negotiations/agreements and reporting performance outcomes against targets.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, and proven leadership and influencing skills at a senior level.
* A true people-leader, capable of motivating and leading a high-performing team.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to measure success.
* Business or Marketing qualifications appropriate to the role.
* Self-directed, energetic, and commercially-focused professional.
