Role: Principal Solutions Engineer Overview We are hiring a Principal Solutions Engineerto partner with customers from first technical evaluation through successful deployment.
This role sits at the intersection ofsales, product, and engineering, owning the technical relationship across the full customer journey.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping prospects understand value, guiding evaluations, and ensuring customers are set up for long-term success.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and working across multiple teams in a fast-moving environment.
What You'll Do Customer Evaluation & Pre-Sales Support sales teams during technical evaluations and solution discussions Lead discovery to understand customer needs, goals, and constraints Run proof-of-concepts and technical validations Deliver clear, tailored technical presentations and demonstrations Implementation & Go-Live Own the technical transition from evaluation to implementation Guide customers through deployment and onboarding Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery Provide best-practice guidance and technical oversight Customer Partnership Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers Deliver training and enablement sessions Help resolve complex technical issues when needed Capture feedback to help improve the product and customer experience What We're Looking For5+ years' experience in a customer-facing technical role Strong communication skills and comfort working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience supporting evaluations, demonstrations, or implementations Broad understanding of modern software and cloud-based systems Ability to manage multiple engagements in parallel Curious, adaptable, and comfortable working in evolving environments Nice to Have Background in solutions engineering, consulting, or technical pre-sales Experience working with enterprise customers Exposure to data platforms, security, or regulated industries Experience working in fast-growth or startup environments
