Qualification = QQI Level 5 qualification or any relevant qualifications/equivalent.
At least 1-2 years of Experience
Hours of Work = 39-hour working week, home-to-home care visits in Cork City and its counties. Each visit's duration ranges from 30-minute calls, 45-minute calls, 1 hour, 1 and a half hours, 2 hours, etc., depending on the needs of the clients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Personal care - bathing, toileting, dressing, pad changing, washing, dressing, feeding, administering medication, or reminding service users to take their medication as required, etc.
* Domestic services – Making meals, tidying, hovering, when required, etc.
* Social care – Conversation, companionship, and support, be aware and report the changing needs of a service user to your Manager or client representative, etc.
