IT Business Analyst – Finance & HR Systems
Realtime Recruitment is looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, supporting Finance and HR systems within a large, dynamic organisation.
This is a permanent role, hybrid in Cork. You must hold a Stamp 4 or EU passport.
Please Note: Experience with Finance or HR systems is essential for consideration.
What You’ll Do
* Act as the key link between business stakeholders and technical teams.
* Analyse, document, and simplify business processes for transformation and continuous improvement projects.
* Support requirements gathering, modelling, dependency mapping, and impact analysis.
* Prioritise product backlogs, user stories, and project deliverables.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party partners.
* Facilitate UAT, deployment, and smooth execution of sprints/milestones.
* Contribute to IT transformation initiatives across Finance and HR systems.
What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years’ IT experience, including 2+ years in Business Analysis or project delivery, with a background in HR or Finance systems.
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
* Familiarity with methodologies such as Agile, Kanban, DevOps, and Waterfall.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience working in hybrid teams and with third-party vendors.
* Ability to thrive in a structured yet fast-moving environment.
* Project Management or Agile delivery experience.
* Knowledge of software development lifecycle, QA, and information security.
