To maintain upkeep and optimize a production facility, to gather and apply production data for line optimization, to propose and carry out small projects once approved for process optimisation. To take full ownership for the equipment needs of the facility both to meet current demands and future advancement. Ensure the production schedule is maintained in relation to equipment requirements, keeping the management team updated on a regular basis of circumstances which alter agreed timelines. Take necessary actions to promote schedule adherence whenever possible. Participate in PMP plan and schedule maintenance.
Business Outcomes:
· Reduced downtime, by ensuring equipment is maintained and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:
· Conceptualise process improvement and present ideas to management
· Execution of development roadmaps
· Fabrication of new equipment and furniture
· Highlight equipment issues as soon as they are identified to ensure quick recovery
· Identify and mange production gaps in terms of equipment and process optimization
· Develop and maintain good lines of communication to ensure that the administrative and other processes, necessary to support and progress production development operate smoothly
· Create and present innovative solutions to management team
· Participate in the development and implementation of PMP plan and scheduled maintenance
· Ensure spare parts are on-site and the spare part log is kept updated and stock replenished as required
· SOP development for engineering/ maintenance
· Other duties as may be reasonably assigned to you from time to time
