Due to continuing expansion, Payslip is looking for a talented and ambitious
Revenue Accountant
to join our Finance team in Westport HQ.
The Revenue Accountant will be responsible for processing and tracking all customer contracts and ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition.
This includes managing invoicing, debtor management, and revenue reporting in line with contract terms, Irish/UK GAAP, and internal accounting policies.
The successful candidate will understand the importance of strong internal controls within a high-growth technology environment and will ensure that all financial deliverables are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
The role's key deliverables will extend across Financial Control, Financial Accounting, Statutory Reporting, and Taxation, as well as involvement in strategic finance projects supporting our European and US entities.
Duties And Responsibilities
Keep up-to-date contracts register, log all key customer agreements and any modifications
Review and analyse revenue contracts, draft detailed revenue-accounting documentation with technical support for revenue recognition
Debtor Management- ensuring adherence to contract and Company key terms
Perform cash reconciliations for all bank accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue-related transactions.
Prepare Revenue Cashflow Forecasts, providing visibility into short-term and long-term cash positions
Maintain and reconcile Deferred Revenue schedules to ensure accurate revenue recognition over contract periods
Partner with the Controller Finance and wider finance team on evaluating, implementing, and improving finance systems to enhance automation, efficiency, and data integrity across the revenue cycle
Qualification And Skills Required
Newly Qualified/Part qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ATI
1-2 years industry experience
Proficiency in financial systems and Excel (experience with ERP Systems such as Xero an advantage)
Excellent technical skills and understanding of Irish/UK GAAP with a strong desire to learn and develop their career
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Effective communicator with proven experience cross-functionally across finance, sales, and operations
Experience in a multinational or multi-entity structure is desirable.
