Encon are currently recruiting for the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager to join their growing team. Encon are a leading Building, Retrofit and Renewables Contractor in the South East of Ireland with projects in neighbouring regions. Encon have a wide variety of projects and an appetite for projects in the New Build, Domestic & Commercial Retrofit & Renewables Sector, and Commercial Facades. Encon are seeking a driven and career focused individual to join their team of 30 members.
The position presents an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to grow the company and work closely with the Managing Director to achieve the targets on a wide range of interesting and challenging projects. The successful candidate will be required to collaborate with the design and construction delivery team on pre- and post-contract project stages to ensure accurate project cost assessment. It is paramount the candidate be commercially aware, flexible and have ambition to progress and grow within the organisation's expansion plans.

Experience and Qualifications
* BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying/Building Economics
* SCSI RICS Chartered (beneficial)
* 5 Years minimum as an Intermediate QS/CM role
* Experience of delivering and managing construction projects and costs under the RIAI and/or Public Works Contracts
* Working knowledge of Build soft Cubit and/or Cost X
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Familiarity with Procore PM software is beneficial; however, training will be provided if necessary
* Outgoing personality and client engagement skills
* Ability to prioritise and manage workloads, work on own initiative, as well as part of a team.
Salary and Wages
Salary is negotiable and based on experienced.
Hours of Work
Standard working hours are 8am to 4:30pm or 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
