About the Role As Quality Officer, you'll play a key role in managing and developing quality and risk systems, ensuring compliance with key ISO standards, supporting internal and external audits, and acting as a liaison with accreditation and advisory bodies.
Key Responsibilities Maintain and enhance organisation-wide Quality Management Systems (e.g.
ISO 9001, ISO 17021, ISO 27001, ISO 50001) Organise and manage document control systems for compliance with accreditation requirements Administer QMS software tools such as Q-Pulse and Cal QRisk for audits, CAPA, document control, and feedback Ensure proper control of documents, templates, and records including authorship, approval, and accessibility Prepare and support internal and external audits, including documentation, follow-up, and relationship management Coordinate quality activities across departments and act as liaison with accreditation bodies Manage engagement throughout the accreditation cycle, including non-conformance tracking and corrective action closure Review linkages between risk, complaints, and CAPA Support new project implementation with relevant quality system changes Monitor and report performance metrics related to quality objectives and systems Plan and conduct internal audits and communicate results to management Lead or support activities to improve process efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance Maintain and update the organisation's Risk Register Provide leadership on risk-related matters for the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) Foster a proactive quality and safety culture across the organisation Qualifications & Experience Essential Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (NFQ Level 8 or above) Certified Lead Auditor with a minimum of 5 years' auditing experience Proven experience with ISO management systems (particularly ISO ) Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels of an organisation Highly proficient in MS Office 365 (Teams, Share Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) Skilled in using quality and risk software (e.g., Q-Pulse, Cal QRisk) Desirable Experience with lean tools, SPC, FMEA, root cause analysis, process mapping, and continuous improvement Knowledge of requirements for certification bodies and accreditation processes What's on Offer Hybrid working - 2 days onsite per week Laptop and mobile phone provided No travel required Free on-site parking and subsidised canteen Competitive salary and generous annual leave Skills: ISO QMS CAPA quality officer risk officer Audit and risk officer Benefits: Work From Home
