**Job Overview:**
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineering Manager to drive transformative mechanical design solutions across the Asia-Pacific region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing mechanical design engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mission-critical design, proven project management skills, and a strong ability to develop and communicate complex technical business cases.
**Responsibilities:**
* Lead and develop a high-performing mechanical design engineering team across the Asia-Pacific region
* Drive global design consistency and standardization of mechanical systems across multiple geographical regions
* Manage and approve mechanical equipment innovations and design submissions
* Establish robust processes for internal design development and third-party vendor management
* Oversee procurement and technical specifications for mechanical Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment
* Manage team reporting, hiring, growth opportunities, annual goal reporting, KPIs, and performance reviews

**Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
* Extensive experience in mission-critical design
* Proven track record in project management
* Experience managing a team of mechanical engineers
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Professional Engineering license
* Comprehensive understanding of data center design and critical equipment
* Expertise in building codes and regulations across the Asia-Pacific region
* Experience with fast-track design and complex upgrade projects
