**Job Title: Trainee Manager**
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Manager in Cork City. This hands-on role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in retail management.
The successful candidate will support day-to-day store operations while developing key leadership and business skills under the guidance of senior managers. Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with store opening and closing procedures
* Replenishing stock and managing store orders
* Monitoring and reducing stock waste
* Handling cash and ensuring till accuracy
* Supervising and supporting team members during shifts
In addition to these responsibilities, the Trainee Manager will participate in management meetings, work towards achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), and support with HR tasks such as rota scheduling and staff communication. They will also assist in managing the store's social media and marketing efforts.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive and team-focused attitude, and a willingness to learn and progress. Flexibility is essential for rotating early and late shifts. While retail or customer-facing experience is advantageous, it is not essential.
