We are seeking a highly organised and energetic Medical Secretary to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring their experience is smooth and welcoming from the moment they enter our clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced clinic environment.
Diary management and exceptional organizational skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet patients warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival.
* Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and follow-up calls with precision and professionalism.
* Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries and provide accurate information about our services and offerings.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and ensure compliance with clinic standards.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient satisfaction and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 1 years of experience. (preferred)
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and Socrates. Training will be provided
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work every Friday and to cover other staff members annual leave when needed.
Job Type: Part time- permanent
Pay: €18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 7.5 hours per week and will be more if other staff members are on annual leave.
