This role involves supporting the Solicitor in the Conveyancing Department, requiring exceptional organisational skills and autonomy.
Main Responsibilities:
* Drafting contracts for sale
* Preparing necessary documents for registration in the Registry of Deeds and Land Registry
* Preparing letters of appointment
* Stamping of documents
* Collating reports and trackers to keep clients informed on the up-to-date status of their transaction
* Assisting in the preparation of transaction completions
* Liaising with clients, agents, and banks in a team environment
Essential Requirements:
* 3-4 years experience working within a legal environment, ideally within a Property Department
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Enthusiasm, resilience, and ambition to find solutions to problems
* Able to remain calm and optimistic in time-sensitive situations or under pressure
* Willingness to work flexibly to meet client needs
* High degree of competence in the use of Microsoft Office suite
