PLANT MANAGER An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plant Manager to join a well-established manufacturing organisation in Cork.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all site operations, driving efficiency, and leading production and engineering teams to deliver high-quality output in a safe and efficient environment.

THE ROLE: Based on-site in Cork, the Plant Manager will take full responsibility for day-to-day plant operations and long-term performance.
Key duties include: Leading and managing production, maintenance, and operational teams Driving performance, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives Overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency targets are achieved Managing budgets, resources, and production planning activities Ensuring compliance with health & safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Monitoring KPIs and implementing strategies to improve output and reduce downtime Working closely with senior leadership on strategic planning and site development Supporting staff development, recruitment, and performance management THE PERSON: The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in a Plant Manager / Operations Manager / Production Manager role Strong background within manufacturing or heavy industrial environments Demonstrated leadership experience managing large teams Strong understanding of operational performance, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement Experience overseeing maintenance and engineering functions is beneficial Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills Strong focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence THE PACKAGE: Competitive senior-level salary (DOE) Company pension Performance-related incentives Long-term career progression within a growing organisation Stable and well-supported working environment LOCATION: Cork - site-based leadership role.
