The Team:
Join our collaborative and diverse Corporate Audit team covering Enterprise Control Functions, with teammates across Europe and globally.
Role Overview:
This role involves working within a team to plan and execute audit testing across various Lines of Business, including CFO, Legal, Compliance, Operational Risk, and HR. It requires analytical skills to produce risk-based testing, document workpapers, and communicate findings effectively. The role offers exposure to management and diverse, impactful work.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and execute regional and global audit reviews within the ECF team, covering areas like ICAAP and recovery planning.
2. Identify risks, document processes, and evaluate internal controls.
3. Assess compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements related to financial reporting, liquidity, and recovery.
4. Conduct root-cause analysis, document issues, and validate remedial actions.
5. Contribute to draft audit reports and share results with business leaders.
6. Validate issues independently.
7. Manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Required Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
* Partially or fully qualified professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, FRM) are highly desirable.
* Experience in financial reporting or internal audit preferred.
* Significant experience in financial, regulatory, or liquidity reporting.
Required Skills:
* Experience with Capital (RWA)/liquidity regulatory reporting or product control in an investment bank.
* Experience with ICAAP or RRP processes is preferable.
* Proactive, eager to learn, positive, and flexible.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of presenting to senior management.
* Familiarity with audit project management tools and data analytics (e.g., Alteryx, Excel, SQL) is advantageous.
