Corporate Sales Manager
The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for generating top-line revenue through proactive sales efforts targeting corporate accounts.
This role focuses on developing long-term relationships, securing negotiated corporate rates, and driving room night production, meeting space utilization, and ancillary revenue for a full-service hotel.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
Solicit new and existing corporate accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual room night and revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
Account Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients.
Conduct regular sales calls, site tours, and client entertainment.
Maintain detailed account records and production history in CI/TY.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
Market & Business Development
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
Participate in local and national networking events, trade shows, and industry organizations.
Collaborate with revenue management to optimize pricing strategies and inventory controls.
Collaboration & Internal Communication
Partner with operations, front office, and event teams to ensure seamless execution of client expectations.
Attend weekly sales meetings and contribute to strategy discussions.
Work closely with the catering and group sales teams to maximize total hotel revenue.
Reporting & Administration
Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and action plans.
Maintain accurate sales activity tracking and pipeline management.
Ensure compliance with brand standards and sales systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
2–5+ years of hotel sales experience, preferably within a full-service property.
Experience with Group Sales.
Strong knowledge of Marriott sales systems (e.g., CI/TY, MARSHA,) preferred.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
