Job Title
The Building Services Manager position plays a pivotal role in the strategic delivery and implementation of MEP services.
This key role is crucial within our project team, working closely with project managers and subcontractors to oversee all electrical/mechanical activities, manage resources efficiently, and uphold our uncompromising standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage & coordinate all phases of the MEP services project delivery cycle from pre-construction planning through to testing and commissioning.
* Coordinate design team information & details in time for project delivery activities.
* Ensure implementation of the MEP deliverables on the project.
* Ensure all MEP works are carried out to the highest level of safety.
* Inspect all installation works against the agreed level of approved quality plan.
* Monitor programmes & review installation progress of MEP services.
* Work collaboratively with the design team, MEP subcontractors and the wider project team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Mechanical/Electrical third-level qualification.
* Seven years' experience in building services coordination.
* Previous Main Contractor experience is preferred.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
* Strong client focus.
