Job Description
Our facility in Letterkenny specializes in Vertiv PowerModule design, construction, and delivery of customized, pre-fabricated buildings. Our modular data center solutions are engineered to meet the evolving demands of modern infrastructure, offering flexibility, scalability, and rapid deployment, and Vertiv Unify integrated platform software.
Responsibilities
Design and development of modular buildings for customized solutions, following strict standards.
Mechanical design on projects – building heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and fire suppression systems.
Integration with architectural, structural and electrical disciplines; focus on general design, concepts, and calculations.
Cooperate with the design team to develop construction documentation (CD) sets.
Prepare manufacturing documentation.
Engineering supervision and support during module assembly in the factory.
Provide engineering support to the service team and subcontractors.
Participate in content and constructability reviews during the design stage, providing feedback to the design team.
Collaborate with operations (project management, quality control, manufacturing, testing, construction) to define deployment strategy and execute the project.
Manage Construction Administration activities, including As Built Documentation, Installation Manuals, FAT procedures (L3) – flushing and pressure testing, assistance with Punch list items, etc.
Collaborate with local service teams to improve project implementation.
Specify Bill of Materials and required services for project execution.
Coordinate with material and service suppliers during execution.
Supervise engineering activities during site construction and commissioning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's in Mechanical Engineering (Process and energy engineering, thermotechnics, modeling and simulations).
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Proficient in Windows and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
Proficient modeling skills; preferred knowledge of Revit or Autodesk AutoCAD.
Independent English language user with B2 proficiency.
Strong analytical, organizational and meticulous technical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.

Physical & Environmental Demands
Work in office, engineering support during factory integration, site construction, and commissioning.
Travel
Up to 20% travel required.
