We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in financial management, reporting, and compliance. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in overseeing accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and providing strategic insights to support business growth.
As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio, preparing financial statements, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality financial expertise.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
* Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
* Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to provide strategic insights and support decision-making.
* Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
* Maintain compliance with tax regulations, assisting with audits and liaising with external auditors as needed.
* Implement and improve internal controls and accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and support business objectives.
Skills And Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or ACCA certification preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance.
* Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong knowledge of tax regulations, financial controls, and industry best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
