Occupli are supporting a leading industrial manufacturing organisation in the appointment of a Mechanical Turnaround Lead to support major shutdown and maintenance activities within a complex operational environment.
This role will suit an experienced mechanical professional with a strong background in turnaround/shutdown execution, maintenance coordination, and field leadership across heavy industrial or process manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead mechanical turnaround and shutdown activities from planning through execution and close-out
Coordinate contractors, materials, tooling, and site resources
Support scheduling, work-pack readiness, and execution planning
Drive safe and efficient field execution across mechanical scopes
Liaise with operations, maintenance, engineering, and external vendors
Monitor progress, resolve execution issues, and support schedule delivery
Requirements
Mechanical maintenance or turnaround leadership experience
Background within pharma, chemical, energy, utilities, manufacturing, or heavy industry
Strong contractor and stakeholder coordination skills
Experience working within brownfield or live operational environments
Ability to lead under tight shutdown schedules and changing priorities
