Cybersecurity Analyst - Threat Intelligence Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team as a Threat Intelligence Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and analyzing cyber threat intelligence reports, developing plans to categorize and prioritize efforts to identify gaps in controls, processes, and/or procedures for the purpose of initiating remediation efforts.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform research into cyber threat intelligence reports and develop plans to identify gaps in controls, processes, and/or procedures.
- Create and refine documentation to ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
- Improve and challenge existing processes and procedures in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide support in response to cyber threats/risks associated with findings by reviewing and prioritizing security reports and best-practice recommendations based on trends with State Street's cyber security risks.
- Develop a strong understanding of State Street's IT processes and cybersecurity remediation best practices.

**Requirements:**
- Understanding of current security threats and other challenges, as well as frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
- Ability to follow processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Ability to develop reports and articulate both in person and in writing findings and recommendations.
- Experience with common enterprise security tools such as SIEM (Splunk), EDR (CrowdStrike, CarbonBlack, or Tanium), Vulnerability Management (Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7).
- Experience with cloud security tools/platforms such as AWS or Azure and common enterprise SaaS applications.
- Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
- Knowledge of IT architecture and operations (computing, network, storage & cloud).

**Education & Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- +2 years in a cybersecurity skilled role – Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, Threat Hunting, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Offensive Security are considered a plus.
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, any combination of education and/or relevant cybersecurity experience will be considered.
