Accounting Specialist Role
A highly skilled accounting specialist is required to manage the financial operations of a company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records, as well as providing support to the management team in financial decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in double entry bookkeeping, with experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. They will also possess excellent IT skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing all aspects of financial record-keeping, including journal entries, ledgers, and trial balances.
* Preparing and reviewing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and financial reporting requirements.
* Providing financial analysis and recommendations to the management team.
* Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
Required skills and qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
* CPA certification or equivalent.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in accounting software.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
