Newbridge, Kildare, Ireland Company: Bitrecruit Client / Employer: OccupopWe are seeking a talented and proactive Microsoft Technical Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, administering, and enhancing the organisation's Microsoft technology stack across SharePoint, Dynamics 365 CRM, and the Microsoft Power Platform. The role blends technical administration, solution development, and business engagement, enabling users and teams to work more effectively through secure, scalable, and well-designed Microsoft solutions. A strong focus will be placed on low-code / no-code development, continuous improvement, and automation. Reporting to the IT Service Deliver Manager, you will contribute to the support & development of SharePoint & MS Dynamics customisations, while also supporting the rollout, governance, and optimisation of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform technologies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys cloud engineering, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about modern Microsoft technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain Microsoft 365, MS Dynamics, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Azure based solutions, including configuration, user management, and system optimisation.Lead or support the design, configuration, and rollout of SharePoint Online sites, intranet, departmental sites, and collaboration spaces.Manage SharePoint information architecture, permissions, and governance frameworks.Develop automated workflows using Power Automate and integrate them with existing systems.Support the rollout and adoption of integrated technologies such as Copilot and Power BI.Perform SharePoint maintenance activities including backups, audits, and optimisation.Provide user support, training, and guidance on SharePoint and Power Platform tools.Track usage, generate performance reports, and drive continuous improvement.Regularly audit permissions to ensure access is appropriately governed, minimising the risk of oversharing and unintended access.Stay current with emerging Microsoft technologies and best practices.Collaboration & Continuous ImprovementWork closely with internal customers to clarify requirements and deliver effective solutions. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive automation and digital transformation. Keep up to date with best practices in Microsoft development and cloud technologies. Support other IT team members to meet departmental service and quality objectives.Summary of RequirementsTechnical SkillsExperience implementing security best practices for managing access and governance in SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform.Administration and configuration of SharePoint sites, libraries, permissions, and workflows.Administration and configuration of Dynamics 365 architecture, including entities, relationships, security roles, and environments.Working knowledge of Power Automate for building automated workflows.Familiarity with SharePoint Online administration tools and capabilities.Integration of SharePoint, Dynamics, and Power Automate with other systems (advantageous).Knowledge of the entire Microsoft stack, including Microsoft Purview.3-5 years of experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive).2-4 years of experience administering and configuring Dynamics 365 (Dataverse tables, security roles, forms, views, and workflows).2-4 years of experience designing and delivering Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) in a low-code / no-code environment.Demonstrated experience auditing, managing, and governing access and permissions across Microsoft platforms.Proven experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver solutions, and support adoption.Strong experience with Azure, Intune, and Microsoft 365.Additional SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to train and support internal users.Ability to analyse business needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions.Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimise performance.Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with Microsoft technologies.Desirable SkillsMicrosoft specialist certifications related to Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, or Azure (support provided for ongoing professional development).Experience with Teams, OneDrive, or other Microsoft 365 tools.Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certification.Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate or Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
