About The Role
Lead the Future of Sustainable Farming in Ireland – Shape the future of farming by leading our commercial team and driving growth through strategic partnerships.
* Are you a commercially driven leader with a passion for sustainable agriculture and a vision for growth?
* You will be responsible for delivering value-driven solutions to our customers and advancing our mission of sustainable agriculture.
* As part of our commercial leadership team, and reporting directly to the VP, you'll be home-based within the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
You will lead our Irish commercial team, drive innovation in our product portfolio, and strengthen brand differentiation through customer engagement and market share growth.
This is a pivotal role in advancing our mission of sustainable agriculture and shaping the future of farming in Ireland.
Responsibilities
1. Play an active role within the Commercial Leadership Team.
2. Lead and develop the commercial strategy for Ireland, including full P&L responsibility.
3. Grow customer engagement and market share across Ireland through a strong business partnership model.
4. Anticipate farmer needs and translate them into commercially successful and impactful solutions.
5. Drive innovation in our product and service portfolio to meet evolving market demands.
6. Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers, partners, and key industry stakeholders.
7. Continuously evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of commercial activities.
8. Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing commercial team.
9. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making using CRM tools and best practices.
10. Champion low-carbon product offerings and position us as a leader in sustainable agriculture.
11. Work closely with Marketing and Agronomy teams to define and execute impactful business plans.
Profile
University Degree in Agriculture/Science/Business or equivalent qualification (in ROI). Proven track record in a senior commercial position, with at least 2 years in agriculture.
Deep understanding of the Irish fertilizer market, broad understanding of the European fertilizer market. Strong Leadership skills, Results-oriented with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Willingness to travel across Ireland and the UK as required.
