About the Role
This is a key position within the audit department, ideal for a qualified accountant with significant experience and a strong background in financial analysis.
The successful candidate will spend approximately 60-70% of their time on audit work, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience across:
* Accounts preparation and review
* Tax compliance, including Corporation Tax, VAT, and Income Tax
* Company secretarial filings and structures
* Due diligence on M&A transactions
* Corporate finance assignments
* Advisory projects across multiple industries

Key Responsibilities
* Lead audits for various clients across sectors
* Prepare audit-exempt financial statements
* Planning, resourcing, and structuring assignments
* Preparing audit work papers and financial statements for review
* Liaising directly with clients and building long-term relationships
Ideal Candidate
* ACA/ACCA qualified with significant experience in Audit
* Background in a reputable accounting firm or practice
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple assignments and work to deadlines
