We're looking for a Technical Trainer to lead and support our clients site-wide training initiatives that strengthen capabilities, promote best practices, and help maintain high standards of quality and performance.
Your Role
As the site-based Technical Trainer, you will:
1. Deliver certified training (IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, IPC 7711/7721, IPC WHMA-A-620) to ensure compliance with customer standards.
2. Drive and support induction, upskilling, and cross-training across departments.
3. Assist in developing capability matrices to identify skills gaps and mitigate single points of failure.
4. Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to support audits, CAPA investigations, and prototype builds.
5. Lead practical, hands-on training in electronics handling, assembly, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement (CI/Lean).
6. Maintain training facilities and records, and update training content in line with current technologies and regulatory requirements.
7. Contribute to strategic training plans and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with HR and CI teams.
What You Bring
8. IPC Certified Trainer credentials (J-STD-001/IPC-A-610) or willingness to achieve certification.
9. Strong background in electronics manufacturing or design within an ISO or EN9100-certified environment.
10. Experience in delivering training and assessing workforce skill levels.
11. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisation skills.
12. Solid knowledge of Lean methodologies and CI tools (A3, waste reduction, .
