Lead Data Engineer12 Month Daily Rate ContractDublin - RemoteWe have partnered with a client in Dublin that is looking to bring in a Senior Data Engineer that has excellent experience in building scalable, reliable data pipelines.Responsibilities:Design, build and operate scalable, reliable data pipelines and data warehouses supporting analytics and reporting.Be accountable for pipeline performance, data freshness, and operational readiness.Collaborate with data architects, analysts and product owners to convert business needs into data products.Establish and enforce data engineering standards, data quality processes and monitoring.Mentor engineers and lead continuous improvement across the data platform.Maintain Data Quality standards and staying up to date with the latest data governance tools and technologiesSkills Required:8+ years experience in a Data Engineering role with 3 years in a Senior/ Lead capacityStrong Python programming skills and experience with PySpark & complex SQL queriesMust have experience in the Databricks platformExperience working on cloud platforms such as AWS or AzureStrong experience in ETLSound knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau or Power BITrack record of delivering complex data pipeline solutions at an enterprise scaleExperience working in an Agile environmentPlease apply or email to find out more information.Please note that candidates must hold a valid EU Passport/ Stamp 4 visa to apply.
